Masala = Mixed spice & chai = Grampa Roop tea


My dad was a lifelong and loyal coffee drinker. I don't think I ever saw him drink tea; but if he did, this would be it! Rich and aromatic, warm and comforting (just like dad!), this blend contains organic black tea, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ginger and pepper...yes, pepper! And 10mg of hemp. This tea works well with milk. See recipe for quick & easy homemade chai latte below.


Not Your Granny's Tea come in pre-measured sachets, which can be used on its own (steep directly) or opened for use with a strainer. The tea blend in each sachet may be steeped twice, if you like.


Grampa Roop Chai Latte

Heat water to a rolling boil. Steep tea bag for 3 to 5 minutes.

While tea is steeping, warm milk in a pan, then whisk with a frother. Combine the milk and chai tea. For a sweeter latte, add a little honey or maple syrup (or condensed milk!). Top with nutmeg or cinnamon. Enjoy!
